Juno Beach Animal Hospital

Appointment Policy

To allow ample time for all patients and scheduled surgical procedures, we operate primarily by appointment. Emergency cases shall always receive top priority, which is why occasional appointment delay is inevitable. Please realize that we make a sincere attempt to see each client on time.

For your convenience, drop-off' appointments are available. A 'drop off' means you could bring your pet at the time that works best for you and leave him/her with us for a couple of hours. Usually we will ask you to 'drop off' sometime in the morning so our doctors can examine the patient in between appointments, or at the time purposely reserved for admitted patients. Once your pet is done, the doctor will give you a call to go over the diagnosis and to give you discharge instructions.

For the safety of all animals in our care, we require that all vaccinations be up to date. Even though we make every effort to make our patients feel comfortable during visits, they may be a little uneasy about new people, new surroundings and other pets. This is one of the reasons we ask you to restrain your pet with a carrier or leash before entering the waiting room.

Payment Policy

We require full payment at the time that services are rendered. For your convenience, we accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, cash and personal checks.

Prescription Policy

We at Juno Beach Animal Hospital take every possible step to ensure that our patients receive the best pharmaceutical products available.  Veterinarians are required by law to have a valid client/patient relationship in order to prescribe any medications.   As a service to our clients, if you prefer having medications delivered to your house, we offer mailing for a nominal fee or a secure manufacture guaranteed online pharmacy through our website.

There are several catalogue/online sources available now.  There is some information we like for you to be aware of regarding these companies.  All major manufacturers of veterinary specific products are to be sold through licensed veterinarians only.  These companies cannot obtain these products directly from the manufacturer.  Most of these products are obtained through non-approved channels.  The manufacturer’s guarantees are not valid if the product if purchased through non-approved channels.  The only approved online pharmacy we recommend is Vetstreet through your pets personal “Pet Portal”.  You can access this “Pet Portal” through our website www.junobeachanimalhospital.com and click on the “Pet Portal” box on the bottom of the welcome page.

If you prefer to purchase your products with other catalogue/online sources we will gladly write prescriptions according to the following guidelines.

* We will write one prescription per pet per 6 months at no charge.  Additional prescriptions will have a fee of $5.00.

* To avoid doctor-patient confidentiality issues, we will not communicate with these companies in any manner.  The prescription will only be given to you and you may submit it as you wish.

* If the doctor has prescribed human medications for your pet that we do not carry, the prescriptions will be written at no cost to you.

Please don’t hesitate to call us with any questions.
